We are retained to appoint a General Manager – Sales, Electronic Security for a leading Global Security Integrator operating across Australia.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an established Sales Director, General Manager or senior commercial leader who is ready to take ownership of a national growth agenda and shape the next chapter of an established electronic security business.

The mandate

This role is about more than hitting a sales number.

You will lead the national sales organisation and define the commercial strategy across Australia, with accountability for growth, profitability, recurring revenue, client retention and sales capability.

A key priority will be accelerating the transition from traditional product-led selling toward value-led, intelligence-led and integrated solution selling.

You will

▪ Own the national sales and commercial strategy

Translate business strategy into clear market, segment and vertical-led growth plans.

▪ Drive profitable growth

Deliver sales, order entry, gross margin, installation and recurring revenue performance.

▪ Build the recurring revenue engine

Increase the contribution from service contracts, maintenance, monitoring, managed services and SaaS-style solutions.

▪ Lead from the front

Develop, coach and retain a high-performing national sales team while building a culture of accountability and commercial excellence.

▪ Elevate the customer proposition

Position the organisation as a trusted strategic advisor across integrated security, risk, technology and managed solutions.

▪ Target high-value markets

Develop growth strategies across sectors including data centres, premium commercial, healthcare, fintech and other strategically important verticals.

▪ Bring commercial discipline





Strengthen pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, bid/no-bid decisions, opportunity qualification and sales-to-operations handover.

▪ Shape the future

Drive digital enablement and identify opportunities across AI, analytics, managed services and emerging security technologies.

Who we're looking for

This opportunity is suited to a senior commercial leader who has already demonstrated the ability to build teams, win strategically, grow profitably and influence at executive level.

Ideally, you will bring:

- 10+ years' senior sales, commercial or general management experience
- A proven track record of sustained profitable growth and margin management
- Strong experience in electronic security, technology integration, SaaS, monitoring, managed services or related B2B services
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales teams
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Experience developing vertical-led go-to-market strategies and senior client relationships
- The ability to operate effectively within a global/matrix environment
- A strong understanding of value-based selling and technology-enabled solutions
- A genuine interest in the evolution of security technology The prospect
