Nexus APAC
Canberra
As an Analyst, you'll work at the intersection of business, government and public policy, helping clients navigate complex challenges, engage key stakeholders and make informed strategic decisions.
At Nexus APAC, we advise organisations across healthcare, technology, infrastructure, financial services and emerging industries on issues that matter. From your first week, you'll contribute to live client projects, tackle real-world challenges and gain responsibility that often takes years to earn in larger organisations.
You'll contribute to strategy and policy development, conduct research and analyse complex issues, turning information into clear, actionable insights for clients. You'll help prepare briefings, reports and presentations, support stakeholder engagement and contribute to strategy development across a diverse range of projects. Working in a quick-paced team, you'll gain direct exposure to clients, senior decision-makers and career-defining opportunities early in your career.
We're looking for curious, motivated graduates and early-career professionals who enjoy solving problems, thinking critically and communicating clearly. Whether your background is in public policy, law, politics, economics, commerce, international relations or a related field, what matters most is your willingness to learn, take initiative and make an impact from day one.
Why Start Your Career at Nexus?
At Nexus APAC, graduates work on real client projects from day one, gain exposure to government, policy and business leaders, and develop consulting skills at a pace rarely offered in larger organisations. For ambitious graduates looking for meaningful work, accelerated learning and genuine career progression, Nexus offers an opportunity to make an impact from the very start of their career.
You'll get
- Immediate exposure to real client work
- Direct insight into the intersection of government, policy and business
- Exposure to industry leaders and decision-makers
- Visible career progression
- A cooperative, hands-on and supportive team environment
- Work that has real-world impact beyond the office
About You

A strong interest in the intersection of business, government and public policy is essential.
Our ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in public policy, law, politics, economics, commerce, international relations or a related field
- A genuine curiosity about the intersection of business, government and public policy
- Confident communication skills with strong attention to detail
- The ability to think critically and break down complex problems
- The motivation to take initiative and the confidence to embrace new challenges
Previous experience through internships, part-time work, student leadership or placements in consulting, government, politics, public affairs or related fields will be highly regarded, but it's not essential.
