The position

We are seeking Support Workers to join our supportive and growing team to work with a participant in Supported Independent Living (SIL) Accomodation in the outer South Eastern suburbs (Location Dandenong, and surrounding areas.)

This position also has the added bonus of further opportunities and growth within the organisation and field.

Positions available for day, morning, afternoon, early evening, sleep overs and weekends. The hours are dependent on participant needs.

Qualifications & experience

- Demonstrated knowledge of disability, ABI and MS .
- Experience in the Support Worker or Disability Field
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Victorian Driver's license and vehicle
- NDIS worker Screening Check (willing to obtain)

About you:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer/technology knowledge.




- Excellent customer service skills and genuine care and attention to our participants.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Have passion for what you do.
- Greek language skills are a must, and necessary.

Tasks & responsibilities

- Work with people who have ABI and MS needs with a variety of disabilities.
- Hoisting, manual handling and physical support of participant.
- Versatile work arrangements around peoples’ individual needs, including shift times/days, personal care tasks and manual handling.
- You may need to undergo additional training such has manual handling, medication training etc.
