Snap Fitness Bentleigh East is looking for an experienced & energetic Club Manager OR Assistant Club Manager to lead our team, grow our membership base and make sure our members love coming to the gym.

About the role

You’ll manage the day-to-day operations of Snap Fitness Bentleigh East, working closely with the owners, club staff and personal trainers.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on membership sales, retention and member experience. You’ll be comfortable picking up the phone, showing prospective members around and making sure the details behind the scenes are taken care of.

Your responsibilities will include

- Driving membership growth through lead follow-up, calls, tours and sales.

- Working towards agreed sales, retention and operational KPIs.

- Building relationships with members and helping new joiners settle in.

- Managing member enquiries, feedback and membership administration.

- Leading and supporting club staff, including recruitment and onboarding as required.

- Working with our personal trainers to support member engagement.

- Promoting the club through social media, local marketing and community partnerships.

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation,



equipment maintenance and safety.

- Keeping member records and CRM activity up to date.

- Reporting on club performance and identifying opportunities to improve.

About you

You’re approachable, proactive and commercially minded. You enjoy talking to people, know how to follow through on a lead and can keep yourself organised without someone looking over your shoulder.

You’ll bring

- Sales experience and a track record of working towards targets.

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

- Good organisation and attention to detail.

- The confidence to lead a small team and take ownership of daily operations.

- A genuine interest in fitness and helping people feel comfortable in the gym.

- Confidence using membership systems, CRM software and social media.

Experience in fitness club management, membership sales or a similar retail or service environment will be highly regarded. Familiarity with GymSales and Glofox is a bonus.

Qualifications

- Certificate III in Fitness, or a willingness to obtain an appropriate fitness qualification or accreditation.

- Current First Aid and CPR certification.

- Appropriate police and Working with Children checks.

- Relevant qualifications in fitness, health or business are welcome, along with practical experience in a similar role.
