About the role

Peter Edwards hair design is seeking a talented and creative Hairdresser to join our team in Kardinya, WA 6163. This is a part time or casual position available that offers flexible hours work/ life balance and the opportunity to work in a energetic salon environment. As a Hairdresser, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional hair services to our valued clients, utilising your technical expertise and creative flair to transform hair and boost client confidence.

This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality hair design and outstanding customer service.

What you'll be doing

- Providing a full range of hair services including cutting, styling, colouring, treatments and other hair care services
- Consulting with clients to understand their desired look and providing professional recommendations based on their hair type, face shape and lifestyle
- Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and salon presentation
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings
- Staying up to date with the latest hair trends, techniques and industry best practices
- Operating salon equipment safely and responsibly
- Contributing to a welcoming and professional salon atmosphere
- Processing client payments and handling salon administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

- A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in hairdressing or cosmetology
- Proven experience working as a hairdresser in a professional salon environment
- Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring,



styling and hair treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to client needs
- A creative eye with the ability to adapt styles to suit individual clients
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results
- Reliability and the ability to work flexibly within a casual work arrangement
- A passion for hair design and commitment to continuous professional development
- Knowledge of hair care products and treatments is advantageous
