Weekend Farm and Grounds Offsider

Yarralumla Play Station is not your standard venue—and this is not your standard weekend job.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking weekend offsider to assist with animals, grounds and general outdoor tasks across our busy venue.

Casual work is available on weekends and during school holidays.

About the Role

This is a practical, hands-on position for someone who is physically fit, strong, dependable and comfortable working outdoors.

Your duties will include

- Using a backpack blower to clean and maintain the Mini Golf course
- Feeding animals and checking their water and general welfare
- Cleaning animal areas and completing other farm-related duties
- Grounds maintenance and keeping the venue clean and well presented
- Assisting with basic repairs, fencing and maintenance
- Moving feed, equipment and other items around the venue
- Identifying and reporting safety or maintenance issues
- Completing general tasks as directed
- Reading, understanding and following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Following instructions and completing tasks properly and safely

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Is reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Is physically fit and capable of safely completing manual outdoor work
- Has experience around farm animals and understands how to behave safely around them




- Is comfortable handling animal feed, cleaning enclosures and getting dirty
- Has plenty of common sense and can apply practical logic
- Listens carefully and follows instructions
- Can read, understand and follow written procedures
- Takes responsibility for completing tasks to the required standard
- Notices what needs attention and asks questions when unsure
- Works well as part of a team
- Is available on weekends and during school holidays
- Has, or can obtain, a Working with Vulnerable People registration

Experience using outdoor equipment, including a backpack blower, would be an advantage. Training will be provided where required.
