Bring your practical skills, curiosity and care to Andaz Gold Coast.

We’re looking for a Handyperson to help keep our hotel looking its best and running smoothly. You’ll work across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces, taking pride in the details that shape every guest and colleague experience.

In this role, you will:

- Complete general repairs and maintenance across the hotel

- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional way

- Assist with painting, patching, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks

- Inspect rooms, public areas and facilities to identify maintenance needs

- Support preventative maintenance programs

- Work with external contractors when required

- Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures

- Keep maintenance areas, tools and equipment organised and secure

- Support the Engineering team with projects and daily priorities

You’ll bring
- Previous experience in a handyperson, maintenance, facilities or hotel role

- Practical knowledge across a range of general maintenance tasks




- A proactive approach and strong attention to detail

- Valuable communication and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A professional, reliable and solutions-focused attitude

- Relevant trade qualifications are highly regarded

- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

- You must already have current and ongoing working rights for Australia
