The Role

We’re hiring an HDD Project Engineer to join our Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crew. This is a Fly-In-Fly-Out role on a 2:2 roster. Point of hire is any major city.

Responsibilities include:

- Interpret contract terms and scope, drive contract administration, and lead coordination across all phases of construction and project controls through close-out.
- Participate in construction-related meetings (safety, planning, weekly progress) and champion project functions. Align activities with project leadership and ensure timely progress.
- Plan and oversee delivery of plant, drilling equipment, downhole tooling, materials, spares, and personnel for each project.
- Develop, implement, and monitor work plans and checklists to maximize productivity and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Prepare technical documents, designs, and drawings. Track and report technical performance, resolve issues, and provide hands-on project support.

What it takes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- 0-3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
- White Card
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Current driver's licence
- Knowledge and/or experience with project management software or design software (CAD, MicroStation etc.) preferred
- Willing to work in remote locations and ability to work 12-hours days
- Willing to work on rosters 2:2
- Physically Fit
- Enjoy working outdoors in a team-focused workplace
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment safely & efficiently
- Commitment to Company HSE regulations and site-specific rules
- Able to pass a mine site Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen
- Able to provide National Police Clearance
- Must have existing Australian work rights

Pay: $88,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
