We're looking for an experienced Head Cook / Chef who is ready to take ownership of a kitchen, lead a BOH team and help build something from the ground up.

This is a great opportunity to get involved from day one, build your own kitchen team and help shape the culture and standards of a brand-new store.

About the role

As Head Cook / Chef, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operations and lead the BOH team through busy service.

You'll work closely with the Store Manager to make sure FOH and BOH are working together and that our food, service and kitchen standards stay consistently on point.

Your responsibilities

- Lead, train and develop the BOH team
- Run the day-to-day kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
- Manage stock, food safety and kitchen standards
- Work closely with the Store Manager to keep FOH and BOH working together
- Lead from the front during busy service
- Help create a positive, high-performing kitchen culture
- Take ownership and make sure no loose ends are left behind

What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Head Cook, Chef, Sous Chef or similar senior kitchen role




- Experience leading and developing a BOH team
- Strong food quality and presentation skills
- Confident kitchen management and organisational skills
- Someone who is hands-on and enjoys being part of the action
- A strong leader who can stay calm and focused in a busy kitchen
- Someone who takes initiative, has high standards and gets stuck in

Before we open You'll complete full paid training at our nearby Andonis stores before Eagleby opens, so you'll be ready to hit the ground running from day one.

Pay: $66,528.90 – $105,994.24 per year
