About the role

As Head of Legal Operations you will own the engine room of a fast-scaling lender: how a deal is submitted, diligenced, documented, funded, monitored and collected. You will map each of those processes, find bottlenecks, and rebuild it better, working directly with the founders every day.

This is a genuinely multi-faceted role that sits at the intersection of legal and operations. Our business runs on process discipline, so a legal background is strongly preferred, but we are hiring for talent and drive over years of experience. You will work alongside experienced external counsel and get hands-on exposure to structuring, securitisation and collections on live deals. What matters is that you are sharp, organised, and willing to roll up your sleeves and get into the weeds.

What you will own

- Process. Our core workflows end to end: submissions, underwriting support, funding and settlement checks, KYC and diligence, and portfolio monitoring.



You will have the ability to document and make them more efficient.
- Regulatory Compliance and Reporting.
- Documentation. Our documents in practice: getting deals papered correctly, executed properly and settled cleanly.
- Collections. The operational side of collections and recoveries: negotiation support, keeping files clean and complete, and working with external counsel.
- Projects. A rolling slate of high-impact work with the founders: funding structures and mechanics, regulatory compliance, new product operations, and whatever the next stage of growth needs.

What you bring A legal background is strongly preferred: a law degree, admission, or experience in a legal or paralegal function, whether or not you are currently practising. Exposure to banking and finance, insolvency or lending is a plus, not a prerequisite.

Beyond that, we care about the person: exceptional organisation, transparent writing, comfort with detail, and the initiative to foresee and fix issues before they arise.
