Outreach Hearts is seeking an experienced Senior Cardiac Sonographer to join our team on a casual basis, providing high-quality cardiac testing across Newcastle and the surrounding region.

n

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys connecting with patients and is confident working independently while collaborating with our cardiologists and clinical team.

About the role

n

n
- Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms with accurate measurements and detailed preliminary reports.
n
- Perform stress echocardiography in collaboration with the supervising clinician.
n
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care.
n
- Maintain high standards of imaging quality, documentation and clinical practice.
n
- Work across clinic locations within Newcastle and the surrounding region.

About you

n

n




- Current ASAR accreditation as a cardiac sonographer.
n
- Extensive experience in adult echocardiography, with solid technical skills and clinical judgement.
n
- Experience in stress echocardiography.
n
- Confidence managing a clinical list independently and recognising findings requiring prompt clinical review.
n
- Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
n
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel between clinic locations.
n
