We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, design leadership, and extensive experience in delivering residential projects across Sydney- with a strong track record in Townhouse developments.

About the Role

n

You will lead projects from early concept through to final delivery, overseeing design direction, technical documentation, and authority approvals. Working closely with project managers and construction teams, you will play a key role in safeguarding design integrity while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

n

Design Leadership: Lead the design and delivery of residential developments, with a focus on high-density and multi-dwelling/Townhouse projects.

n

Approvals & Compliance: Oversee and coordinate the preparation of full documentation packages for DA, CC, and CDC applications,



ensuring strict compliance with NSW planning codes, BCA/NCC, and local council regulations.

n

Consultant & Council Management: Drive coordination with external consultants, authority liaison, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.

n

Construction Liaison: Work closely with the construction management team during the build phase to resolve site queries (RFIs) and maintain design quality.

n

Mentorship: Provide guidance and technical oversight to junior and intermediate design staff.

Requirements

n

Degree in Architecture (Registered Architect status in NSW is highly desirable).

n

5+ years of local Sydney experience, with a proven portfolio of Townhouse / Multi-residential projects.

n

In-depth knowledge of NSW planning frameworks (such as the Housing SEPP, Low and Mid-Rise Housing guidelines, and local LEPs/DCPs) and the Design and Building Practitioners (DBP) Act.

n

High proficiency in Revit (Enscape / experience preferred).

n

Solid project management, communication, and client-facing skills.

n

Bilingual candidates who are fluent in Chinese and English are preferred.
