We're looking for a Health, Safety &
- Wellbeing Business Partner to play a pivotal role in delivering proactive, prevention-focused health, safety and wellbeing outcomes across Council. This is an opportunity to work closely with leaders and employees to build capability, manage risk and support a secure, compliant and high-performing workplace.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide trusted advice and guidance on occupational health and safety, risk management and compliance obligations
- Manage WorkCover claims and coordinating effective return-to-work outcomes
- Partner with leaders to strengthen safety leadership, accountability and risk ownership
- Lead incident investigations and supporting the identification and implementation of corrective actions
- Investigate psychosocial hazards and supporting initiatives that promote psychological health and wellbeing
- Deliver training, coaching and continuous improvement activities that strengthen workplace safety performance
What You'll Bring
- Qualifications in Occupational Health &
- Safety, Human Resources, Injury Management or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Victorian OHS legislation, WorkCover and Return-to-Work requirements
- Experience in health and safety, injury management or advisory roles
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing skills
- Strong analytical thinking, risk assessment and problem-solving capabilities
