Absolute Diesel Services is looking for a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team.

We are a busy, established mechanical business providing servicing, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance across a wide range of heavy vehicles, trucks, machinery and equipment. No two days are the same, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys getting in, finding the problem and getting the job done right.

About the Role

As part of our workshop team, your responsibilities will include:

- Servicing, maintenance and repairs of heavy vehicles and machinery

- Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics

- Engine and drivetrain repairs

- Brake, steering and suspension repairs

- Hydraulic and electrical fault diagnosis and repairs

- Preventative maintenance and inspections

- Workshop and field service work

- Completing job documentation accurately

- Working with the service team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Fitter or equivalent

- Experience working with heavy vehicles, trucks, machinery or industrial equipment

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills





- Valuable mechanical and electrical knowledge
- A current driver's licence
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to workplace safety

- Good communication skills

- Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail
- A reliable, positive and practical attitude

Additional licences and experience with hydraulics, auto electrical, cranes or specialised equipment will be highly regarded.
