THE ROLE

We currently have the need for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team based at our Mt Thorley workshop on a permanent afternoon shift basis.

This role will see you reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and working with a highly motivated team, on afternoon shift Mon-Fri 2pm-Midnight.

YOUR BACKGROUND To be successful in this role you will have:

Essential

- Relevant motor vehicle tradesperson qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience working within the road transport industry.
- A MVRIC licence or can obtain.
- Proven experience working within a team environment
- A strong commitment to a ‘safety first’ environment
- Volvo truck, Auto Electrical or Hydraulic experience would be highly regarded’

Desirable

- Volvo truck & auto electrical experience would be highly regarded
- Hydraulic and conveyor experience would be highly regarded
- Current Heavy Vehicle Drivers licence (HR or better) an advantage.
- Forklift licencean advantage.
- Dogging and riggingan advantage.
