Casual Home Care Employee

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Employee to provide in-home support for an elderly lady. This is a casual position with regular morning and/or evening shifts and time flexiblity.

Morning Shift - 1 or 2 shifts

8:30 am – 11:00 am (Monday to Sunday)

Duties include

- Assist with morning medication.
- Prepare and serve breakfast and morning coffee.
- Assist with showering and personal hygiene.
- Assist with dressing and grooming.

Evening Shift - 1 or 2 shifts 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Monday to Sunday)

Duties include

- Assist with evening medication.
- Prepare light snacks and drinks.
- Assist with changing into nightwear.
- Help prepare for bedtime.

General Household Duties

As required

- Tidy living areas.
- Empty rubbish bins.
- Load or unload the dishwasher.




- Light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe workplace.

About You
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or similar is preferred.
- Experienced carers without formal qualifications are welcome to apply.
- Kind, patient, reliable, and respectful.
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- First Aid Certificate is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Driver's licence is an advantage but not essential.

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys caring for older people and helping them remain comfortable and independent in their own home. Pay: $50.00 – $75.00 per hour
