About the Role

As HR Specialist Australia, you will be responsible for delivering the full employee lifecycle experience while ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and Belimo's global HR framework. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on all people-related matters and play a key role in developing an engaged, high-performing workplace culture. This is a broad and autonomous role encompassing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, remuneration, talent development, organisational change, and payroll administration.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across all people-related matters.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, employee development, succession planning, and offboarding activities.
- Lead annual HR processes including performance reviews, talent reviews, salary reviews, bonus administration, and workforce planning.
- Support organisational development, change management, and business improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, company policies, and HR governance requirements.
- Process and administer payroll, ensuring accurate and timely employee remuneration and statutory compliance.
- Maintain HR records, employee data, and management reporting.
- Promote Belimo's values and culture while supporting employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.





About You

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, payroll practices, and HR best practices, with the ability to work effectively with external HR and employment relations advisors.
- Experience supporting employee relations matters and partnering with managers, with the confidence to liaise with external HR and employment law advisors when required.
- Experience with payroll processing and remuneration administration.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- High levels of discretion, professionalism, and integrity.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.
