About the role

Reporting to the chief Technology Officer, you will work closely with managers and team members across the business, delivering exceptional technical support and maintaining a reliable computing environment.

This is a hands-on opportunity where you'll troubleshoot issues, support network infrastructure, deploy new technology, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.

Key responsibilities

- Provide first-line technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and system issues in a timely manner.

- Manage incidents and service requests through the ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation and SLA compliance.

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.

- Perform system upgrades, software updates, and security patching activities.

- Support LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments, including troubleshooting connectivity and network-related issues.

- Deploy and configure new laptops, workstations, mobile devices,



and user accounts in line with security requirements.

- Maintain IT security standards through user access management, malware protection, backups, and policy compliance.

- Identify and implement opportunities to improve IT processes, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

About you

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

- Proven experience in an IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or similar technical support environment.

- Demonstrated experience supporting users, ICT systems, and multi-site technology environments.

- Robust knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting techniques.

- Experience supporting routers, switches, wireless access points, and network connectivity.

- Proficiency supporting Windows, macOS, and common business software applications.

- Strong understanding of IT security standards, controls, and best practices.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
