Independent NDIS Support Worker – Contractor

Kleopatra & Co is seeking a reliable, confident and compassionate independent support workers to provide one-to-one assistance to an NDIS participants in Melbourne’s south-east.

This particular position offers approximately 4 hours per week, Monday & Friday 9.30-11.30, plus travel

Rate: $40-$45 per hour plus 12% superannuation. Applicable higher rates will be paid for approved evening, weekend and public-holiday shifts.

Duties include

- Supporting community access and social participation
- Transporting the participant to appointments and activities
- Assisting with shopping, errands and daily routines
- Encouraging independence, confidence and progress toward NDIS goals
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Completing clear progress notes after every shift
- Reporting incidents, risks or changes in support needs
- Maintaining professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality

We are looking for support workers who are

- Confident,



dependable and a solid communicator
- Comfortable supporting mental-health needs
- Able to build a genuine but professional working relationship
- Available for approximately 12 hours each week

Contractor requirements
- Active ABN
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
- Appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance
- Smartphone for rosters and progress notes
- Relevant support-work experience is referred

The anticipated start date is approximately 25 September 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a meet-and-greet with the participant before the position is offered. At Kleopatra & Co. we are seeking to employ a few support workers to hire over a few clients!
