The Injury Management Advisor plays a key leadership role within the Health & Recovery team, acting as a guiding consultant who provides coaching and mentoring from a treatment and rehabilitation perspective. With your allied health background, you will deliver expert injury management advice, interpret medical and rehabilitation information, and help drive consistent, customer‑centred decision making.
The Injury Management
Advisor also supports Claims Consultants, contributes to progressing claims, and maintains strong relationships with service and rehabilitation providers. This role champions quality, capability development, and collaborative culture, all while ensuring compliance and working toward improved recovery outcomes for individuals injured in motor accidents. We have both permanent and 12-month max term full-time roles available, based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney). This role is hybrid, with a requirement of one day per week in the Darling Park offices.
What You'll Do
- Provide expert injury management advice by analysing medical and rehabilitation information to support effective claim strategies.
- Guide, coach and mentor Claims Consultants to strengthen capability and ensure quality, customer‑focused decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers, rehabilitation professionals and key internal stakeholders.
- Drive consistent application of injury management practices aligned to compliance, performance and recovery outcomes.
- Identify claim trigger points and partner with stakeholders to progress and resolve claims efficiently.
What You'll Bring
- A tertiary qualification and skilled background in Allied Health.
- Strong injury management expertise with the ability to interpret medical and rehabilitation information effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence working across multidisciplinary teams.
- High attention to detail, sound decision‑making ability and comfort analysing diverse information sources.
- A collaborative mindset with natural coaching and leadership qualities to support and uplift team capability.
- A proactive, adaptable approach that aligns with delivering quality outcomes for customers and colleagues.
