THE ROLE – SENIOR ANALYST / ACCOUNTANT Working directly with the firm’s managers and senior team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day progression of a range of restructuring and insolvency engagements, including Small Business Restructures, Voluntary Administrations and Liquidations.
Your responsibilities will include
- Extracting, reviewing and analysing financial information
- Conducting investigations into transactions and potential recoveries
- Assisting with the securing and realisation of assets
- Preparing reports to creditors and other stakeholders
- Liaising with creditors, directors, advisers and other stakeholders
- Maintaining insolvency software, file records and statutory checklists
- Ensuring matters are progressed in accordance with relevant statutory, professional and ethical requirements
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years’ experience in restructuring and insolvency or a similar role
- Strong commercial judgement and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of your work
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or a related discipline
- ARITA qualification, or working towards qualification
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification, or working towards qualification
