Our offshore team is an important part of Raft and works closely with our Sydney based team to support the delivery and progression of restructuring and insolvency engagements.

THE ROLE – ANALYST / ACCOUNTANT As part of Raft’s offshore team,



you’ll work closely with our Sydney-based team to assist with the day-to-day progression of restructuring and insolvency engagements.

Your responsibilities will include

- Extracting, reviewing and analysing financial information
- Conducting investigations and transaction analysis
- Preparing working papers and supporting investigation work
- Assisting with statutory reporting and reports to creditors and stakeholders
- Maintaining insolvency software, file records and statutory checklists
- Preparing reconciliations and other financial information
- Assisting with the progression of recurring and statutory tasks
- Working collaboratively with the Sydney team to progress matters efficiently and accurately
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with relevant processes, statutory requirements and skilled standards

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

- 2-3+ years’ experience in accounting, insolvency or a related professional services role
- Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of assigned work
- The ability to manage priorities and work effectively within deadlines
- Strong communication skills and confidence asking questions or seeking clarification when required
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related discipline
- Experience in Australian insolvency or restructuring will be highly regarded
