About The Role

Are you a Pharmacy student looking to gain valuable experience in a hospital pharmacy setting?

Join our dedicated and innovative Pharmacy team at University Hospital Geelong and gain practical experience in a supportive teaching hospital environment. This is a varied, challenging and rewarding opportunity to develop your skills while supporting the delivery of safe and timely pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Support the dispensary team to provide safe and timely medication supply
n
- Assist with outpatient, discharge and inpatient medication orders
n
- Respond to pharmacy enquiries from patients and Barwon Health staff
n
- Assist with medication distribution, stock management and routine pharmacy duties
n
- Complete all work accurately and in accordance with Barwon Health policies and procedures
n

About You

n

n
- Currently studying a Bachelor or Masters Pharmacy degree at a recognised university
n
- Effective and courteous communication skills
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
n
- Self-directed learning ability
n
