Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, producing detailed drawings, and coordinating interior finishes and furnishings for a range of projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site visits, preparing mood boards and presentations, producing construction and documentation drawings, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers. The role involves selecting FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), preparing specifications, and ensuring designs are delivered on time and within budget.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Coburg, VIC,



requiring regular coordination with the project team and direct interaction with clients throughout the design and delivery process.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, compliant, and visually cohesive layouts.
- Experience working alongside Architecture professionals and project teams to integrate interior concepts with overall building design.
- Proficiency in producing accurate Construction Drawings and documentation suitable for contractors and regulatory approval.
- Capability in FF&E; selection and specification, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures aligned with project budgets and timelines.
- Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with experience in residential and/or commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency in design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in an on-site studio environment.
