This EL2 role has direct accountability and leadership responsibility for the integrated delivery, performance and governance of enterprise ICT infrastructure across Platform Engineering, Enterprise Connectivity, Cloud Services, High Performance Computing and End User Services. It applies contemporary infrastructure leadership practices to deliver resilient, secure, scalable and customer-focused outcomes for the Bureau.

Operating with a high degree of independence, the role provides strategic and operational leadership across these service domains, with direct accountability for service lifecycle management, cyber resilience, automation, observability, vendor performance and operational reliability,



delivered through multidisciplinary teams, vendors and partners.

The role is accountable for portfolio health, financial management, governance, risk, assurance and continuous improvement, and provides explicit, evidence-based advice to senior executives on infrastructure performance, investment, resilience and service risk.
