- Seeking an on-call Laboratory Technician to join the Quality team
- On-call casual contract for busy periods and leave
- ASAP start
- Full training provided
Duties, but not limited to :
- Collection of samples
- Chemical and microbiological testing of samples
- Sensory testing of samples
- Calibration of instruments
- Assisting in production issues and internal audits
- Ensuring GMP standards
- General housekeeping
Skills/experience:
- Bachelor of Science (majoring in Food Science, Microbiology or closely related discipline)
- Previous laboratory or dairy experience would be highly advantageous
- Understanding and knowledge of microbiolgical laboratory techniques
- Reliable and positive work ethic
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
