Responsibilities

You will be an integral part of the operation, managing the flow of materials from receiving and storage through to picking, kitting, packing and dispatch. You’ll work closely with maintenance, operations and other internal teams to make sure the right parts and materials are available at the right time.

As a Logistics Operator, you’ll help keep warehouse and material flows running efficiently by:

- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming goods.
- Picking, preparing and issuing parts and materials to maintenance and operational teams.
- Completing line-side kitting, packing and dispatch activities.
- Operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Managing inventory, stock movements and asset tracking to ensure accurate records and availability.
- Performing stocktakes, cycle counts and regular inventory checks.
- Using SAP, ERP and warehouse management systems to accurately record and manage material movements.




- Ensuring physical stock movements match system transactions.
- Working with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth and timely material flow.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with safety requirements.

Your Profile

You will be a practical, reliable and safety-focused logistics professional who takes ownership of your work.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Experience in Warehouse, Logistics, Materials handling or Supply chain operations.
- Experience with ERP/Warehouse Management Systems; SAP highly desirable.
- Current forklift licence with demonstrated operating experience.
- Robust inventory management, attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work safely and accurately in a busy operational environment.

Location: West Melbourne

Duration: 6 Months

Work Hours: 11 hrs per day 6 AM – 5 PM

PayRate: $68.79/hr + Super + Penalties
