Accounts Payable & Receivable Coordinator on a 12-Month Maximum Term Contract

Marathon Electric is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electric motors and industrial solutions across Australia and Current Zealand. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance team on a 12-month maximum term contract.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage accounts payable and receivable activities across Australia and Recent Zealand, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (Australia & New Zealand)

- Manage customer accounts and allocate incoming payments.

- Process daily banking transactions.

- Perform credit risk assessments and monitor customer accounts.

- Investigate and resolve customer claims and account discrepancies.

- Collect overdue accounts and maintain customer relationships.

- Reconcile customer statements and billing records.

- Support business units with credit-related enquiries and claims resolution.

Accounts Payable (New Zealand)

- Process and verify supplier invoices for the New Zealand business.





- Code invoices accurately to general ledger accounts and cost centres.

- Prepare and process supplier payment runs.

- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.

- Maintain vendor master data, banking details and payment terms.

- Process employee expense claims and corporate credit card reconciliations.

- Support month-end activities, reporting and audit requirements.

- Assist with Australian accounts payable activities as required

About You

· Demonstrated experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

· SAP experience.

· Strong Excel and accounting skills.

· Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand GST requirements.

· Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

· Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
