Help shape the heart and soul of Victor Harbor.
We’re looking for an experienced administrative and operational professional to support our Cultural Development team’s programs, events, facilities and services.
The Support Officer – Cultural Development will assist with the day-to-day operations of Coral Street Art Space, Victa Cinema and Town Hall, as well as festivals and events in Victor Harbor.
You’ll work closely with the Festivals and Events Officer, the Venue Operations Coordinator – Arts and Culture as well as the City Activation team, to help shape a vibrant cultural city.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be the right fit for this role, you’ll need to have:
- A passion and interest in all things arts, events, creativity and culture.
- Experience in administrative or customer service roles with excellent organisational skills.
- Great communications and team skills to maintain relationships with artists, arts organisations, event organisers, community groups,
industry partners and First Nations representatives.
- Experience in arts, cultural, events or community-based environments is ideal.
