Posting on behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Roof Plumber to join their team in Australia. The role requires the ability to work independently, follow site specifications, and contribute effectively as part of a professional project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, maintain and replace roof plumbing and roofing systems across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Measure, cut and install metal roof sheets, gutters, downpipes, flashings and associated fixings.
- Diagnose and repair roof leaks and other roofing issues.
- Read plans and work to site specifications with minimal supervision.
- Install and maintain roofing systems to a high standard.
- Use mobile applications to communicate with the team and upload progress and completion photos.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety requirements, quality standards and site procedures.
- Coordinate with other trades, contractors and project teams to complete works efficiently.
- Provide professional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Certificate III with at least two years of relevant work experience; or
- Certificate IV in Roof Plumbing or a related qualification; or
- At least three years of relevant work experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Minimum 12 months' experience working as a Roof Plumber or in a highly relevant role.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a White Card / Blue Card as required.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain a current Australian driver's licence.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Working at Heights certificate.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
