RMC Signalling & Electrical, backed by Railtrain Holdings Group and part of the GenusPlus Group, is a leading provider of rail signalling, electrical, and workforce solutions across Australia.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from safety-focused rail professionals for upcoming casual opportunities within our Signalling division in Western Australia.

Working alongside experienced Signal Technicians, you will support signalling and rail infrastructure activities while maintaining compliance with rail safeworking requirements, safety standards, and WHS procedures.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates holding current Protection Officer qualifications who are looking to expand their experience within signalling and rail maintenance environments.

Job Requirements

- Current PO1, PO2 and PO3 qualifications.
- Current PTA and/or ARC Track Access accreditation.
- Construction White Card.
- C Class Driver's Licence.
- Ability to pass a CAT 1 or CAT 3 Rail Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and rail safeworking requirements.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- PTA network knowledge, signalling experience, or mechanical/trades experience highly regarded.

Job Responsibilities





- Support signalling maintenance and rail infrastructure activities across project sites.
- Assist Signal Technicians with inspections, maintenance, and installation works.
- Perform Protection Officer duties in accordance with rail safeworking requirements and site procedures.
- Complete and maintain accurate safeworking and protection documentation.
- Communicate effectively with work crews, supervisors, and rail network stakeholders.
- Identify and report safety hazards, risks, and non-conformances.
- Adhere to all rail safety, WHS, and company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a secure, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
