We're looking for a versatile legal consultant to help us build our library of legal document templates, spanning property, corporate/commercial, wills and estates. This will be a part time, ongoing engagement, ideal for a lawyer or legal consultant seeking flexible, project-based work.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and refine existing and new precedent templates
- Review and standardise existing documents into consistent, reusable templates
- Build in clear drafting notes, variable fields, and guidance for non-lawyers to use templates correctly
- Advise on risk areas and recommend clause variations for different document types
- Keep the library updated as law or business needs change
About you
- Experienced legal practitioner or consultant with drafting experience across one or more of: commercial/corporate, property, or wills & estates
- Track record of building or maintaining precedent/template libraries
- Excellent plain-English drafting skills
- Comfortable working autonomously and part-time/flexibly
- Based in Sydney and able to work hybrid (some in-person collaboration may be required)
- If your expertise spans multiple practice areas above, even better — but we're also open to specialists
