This is a property role for a lawyer who wants to become more commercially capable, not simply process transactions, and building trusted adviser relationships with high-net-worth individuals and referrers in the asset and wealth creation activities.

You will work directly with an entrepreneurial Principal and clients who are making decisions about their own businesses, developments and investments. That gives you exposure to the thinking behind a deal, not just the legal documentation required to complete it.

As your capability grows, so will your ownership. You will:

- Manage a broad portfolio of property matters from instruction through to completion.
- Build deeper capability across developments, subdivisions, due diligence, titling and body corporate matters.
- Work directly with owners, developers and high-net-worth clients.
- Further develop your judgement to give practical, commercially sensible advice rather than simply identify legal issues.

What You Will Be Working On
You will take meaningful ownership of the firm's property workload and progressively become a trusted point of contact for clients and referrers.

Your work will span residential and commercial transactions, leasing, developments, subdivisions, off-the-plan matters, due diligence, development approvals, titling and body corporate issues.

Importantly, you will see how property, commercial and business considerations come together. You will work directly with clients, agents, banks, consultants and other advisers, helping clients understand complex issues and make confident commercial decisions.

Over time,



the expectation is that you will take greater responsibility for both matters and client relationships, reducing the Principal's day-to-day involvement.

What Type of Person Will Be Successful
You will probably have around 3–5 years' post-admission experience with a strong grounding in property law and the ability to independently manage standard transactions.

You will suit this environment if you:

- Take ownership and follow through on commitments and want the opportunity to grow with a small practice servicing a niche group of successful clients.
- Have experience across conveyancing and property due diligence, with some exposure to development-related work that you want to develop further.
- Want to strengthen your trusted adviser skills through greater responsibility, client contact and exposure to more complex issues.
- Want broader exposure rather than a narrow or highly siloed property role.
- Are motivated to build stakeholder engagement skills, technical capability and commercial judgement.
