Client is design and build construction company based in Brisbane’s southwestern suburbs. They are genuine success story in their sector being the go-to experts for the specialist ground engineering and bored piers.
Company runs modern fleet of Italian piling rigs with CAT drive systems. As result of increased workload, they are looking to engage a suitable qualified and experienced Piling Rig Operator to join their team on a permanent business

Your new role
The successful candidate would be working closely with supervisor and other site staff on install piles across a range of civil and building projects. You'll be responsible for positioning and operating the rig, drilling and installing piles to the required depth and specification, monitoring the rig and ground conditions throughout the works and working closely with the piling crew, dogman and site supervisor to safely and efficiently complete each job.

The role will also involve setting up equipment, changing piling tools and carrying out basic daily checks and maintenance of the rig.

What you'll need to succeed
The role has a technical ‘barrier to entry’ in that the candidates must have at least two years working for similar piling company driving similar rigs (Italian made, 40-70 tonne) on fulltime basis

However, just as importantly for this client is to find the right person. They are wanting to hire mature, sensible, diligent skilled that is both keen to learn and take direction,



while also being supported to think on your feet to come up with better quality solutions that benefit the business and their clients.

They are wanting a reliable, sensible, safe, hard-working, and self-motivated employee that takes a pride in their work and wants to do a great job as part of an overall business that looks to innovate and exceed their clients' expectations while maintaining a family feel to the business with a genuine care for their team.

The client; as they do defence work, may also need to do a criminal history check
