$40.83 p/hr + penalties (10-12 hour daily shifts)

IP Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Industrial Services Operator for one of our valued clients, This is an excellent prospect for a motivated operator to join a well-established organisation, specialising in industrial services and waste management.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend and actively participate in daily prestart meetings

- Complete daily breath testing

- Participate in random and blanket Drug & Alcohol testing

- Conduct prestart checks on all equipment prior to operation and report any faults or roadworthy issues

- Be available for 10-12 hour daily shifts (penalty rates apply)

- Complete all job dockets through the Safety Culture system

- Read, understand, and sign onto relevant SWMS prior to commencing work

- Follow instructions from Supervisors and Management

- Ensure safety procedures and compliance standards are maintained at all times

- Immediately report all incidents to your direct Supervisor

Industrial Services & Vehicle Operations

- Operate Vac Trucks, completing works including:

- Non-Destructive Digging (NDD)





- Liquid waste transport (all waste categories, including septics)

- Tank cleaning

- Lake and pond desludging

- Gully and stormwater works

- Spill response clean-ups

- Refuel vehicles and refill water tanks at the end of each shift to ensure emergency response readiness

- Perform works involving Confined Space and Working at Heights

- Carry out minor maintenance and repairs including:

- Cleaning internal and external equipment

- Changing light globes

- Greasing

- Gun repairs

- Vac and HP hose repairs or replacements

- Operate Hook Trucks and Skip Trucks as required

- Undertake general yard duties when required, including:

- Product destruction

- IBC washing

- Yard cleaning and maintenance

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

- HR Class Driver’s Licence

- Controlled Waste Licence (preferred)

- Current Police Clearance

- Construction White Card

- Confined Space certification (within the last 2 years)

- Working at Heights certification (within the last 2 years)

- RIW Card

- High Risk Licence – LF Class (preferred)
