About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter, predominantly working Monday to Friday, to help maintain the appearance and presentation of our Care Communities across South East Queensland.

Reporting to the Regional Property Manager and working closely with the General Manager and Maintenance team, you'll undertake interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, touch-up works, and minor repairs to ensure our home remains welcoming, safe, and visually appealing for residents, families, visitors, and team members.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys working independently, and understands the importance of creating a comfortable environment for older Australians. This role will involve travel across multiple Care Communities throughout South East Queensland

What you'll do

- Perform internal and external painting works across the Care Communities
- Prepare surfaces including patching, sanding, filling and minor repairs
- Complete touch-up painting and refurbishment projects
- Ensure work areas are left clean, safe and presentable




- Safely use and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Manage paint, supplies and consumable stock levels
- Identify maintenance issues and report them as required
- Work in accordance with WHS, infection control and quality standards
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and team members

What you'll bring

- Demonstrated painting experience in residential, commercial or maintenance environments
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Understanding of protected work practices and use of PPE
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Trade qualification in Painting and Decorating (advantageous)
- Experience in aged care, healthcare, hospitality or accommodation settings (desirable)
- Current National Police and NDIS Check (or willingness to obtain)
- White Card
- Open Drivers Licence
