Remuneration: $81,748.17 - $114,771.98 per annum, pro rata (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About the Role

As a Registered Midwife in Cootamundra, you will play a vital role in providing safe,



evidence-based, woman-centred care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period. Working collaboratively with women, families and the multidisciplinary team, you will support positive health outcomes while building trusting relationships and empowering women to make informed decisions about their care.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Provide safe, high-quality midwifery care to women throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans in partnership with women and their families.
- Monitor and respond to changes in a woman's condition, ensuring timely intervention and effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Deliver education and support that enables women and families to make informed decisions about their care and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance midwifery care and outcomes.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based midwifery care.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive care for women throughout pregnancy, labour,



birth and the postnatal period.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, woman-centred care and achieve positive outcomes for women and their families.
- Strong written, verbal and electronic communication skills, with the ability to build respectful relationships and support women to make informed decisions about their care.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, ongoing professional development and reflective practice within a rural healthcare setting.
- A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel as required
- A current Working With Children Check
