This is a role where relationships really matter. You’ll be out in the community inspiring supporters, developing fundraising opportunities and bringing people together around a cause that makes a genuine difference.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll have plenty of variety, including:
· Developing and delivering creative fundraising campaigns and initiatives
· Building relationships with donors, sponsors, local businesses and community groups
· Identifying new sponsorship, grant and fundraising opportunities
· Developing and nurturing community-led fundraising
· Planning and delivering fundraising and community events

· Developing community education and awareness activities about palliative care
· Building meaningful relationships with supporters and ensuring they feel valued and connected to our work
You’ll work collaboratively with both internal and external teams, with the opportunity to think creatively, spot opportunities and make things happen.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
· A natural leader, relationship builder and community connector
· Passionate about fundraising and engaging people around a meaningful cause
· Confident presenting, networking and representing an organisation in the community
· Creative, energetic and comfortable turning ideas into action
· An excellent communicator and storyteller
· Organised and able to juggle multiple projects
· Experienced in fundraising, events, campaigns and community engagement
· Comfortable using digital and social media platforms to engage supporters
· Tech savvy with donor/supporter databases and providing an exceptional donor experience
· Someone who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively
Experience in the not-for-profit, health or community sector would be highly regarded.
