Your opportunity

As a valued Lifestyle Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs that promote social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a sense of purpose to our residents.

With kindness and understanding, you will:

- Facilitate group and individual activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities

- Support residents to maintain independence and dignity through meaningful engagement

- Learn residents' life stories, interests and goals to inform personalised activities.

- Work with residents, families and care teams to support holistic care plans.

- Communicate activity calendars and evaluate programs to improve resident outcomes.
- Follow safety, quality and aged care requirements.

What you'll bring

You are warm, creative and organised, with a genuine interest in enriching the lives of older people. You communicate well, build trusting relationships and enjoy working as part of a care team. You share our values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence.

What's required:

- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health,



or Bachelors of Diploma in Health Science or Community Services
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid Certificate

What's preferred:

- Experience in aged care or a similar care setting.
- Knowledge of aged care quality and accreditation requirements.
- Experience planning or facilitating lifestyle activities.
