INTERNAL SALES /WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT - Hardware Products

We are looking for an energetic Salesperson to join our Vater Hardware Sales Team - Perth.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Internal Sales / Warehouse Assistant to join our growing Perth team. This dynamic, dual-functioning role bridges the gap between our warehouse operations and customer service.

You will divide your time between processing customer orders over the phone, email, or counter, and physically preparing those orders in the warehouse.

This is the perfect opportunity for a hands-on, driven person with strong communication skills who enjoys variety in their workday and wants to build a long-term career in logistics and sales support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.

· Process customer orders, generate quotes, and accurately enter information into the SAGE/CRM system.





· Provide technical product advice, check stock availability, and follow up on order status.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing trade and retail clients.

Warehouse & Logistics Operations:

- Receive inward goods, check delivery dockets, and safely store inventory in correct locations.

- Pick, pack, and dispatch stock accurately to meet daily freight deadlines.

- Assist with inventory control, stocktakes, and maintaining a clean, organised warehouse setting.

- Safely operate material handling equipment (forklift operation where required).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Proven experience in sales (hardware/construction) or experience "on the tools" will be highly regarded.

· A people person with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

· A valid driver's licence

· A valid Forklift licence is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
