Process Service Technician - Water Treatment & Chemical Services

Our client is seeking a motivated Process Service Technician to join their growing team, supporting industrial sites with essential water treatment chemicals, equipment servicing and ongoing process support.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a chemical, mechanical or technical background who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites, troubleshooting equipment and building solid relationships with clients.
Full training and site inductions will be provided.

About the Role
Our client supplies a range of specialty and commodity chemicals that play a critical role in customer operations. Reliable product supply, equipment performance and regular site servicing are essential to keeping these processes running smoothly.
You will be responsible for completing regular site visits, inspecting treatment systems, monitoring chemical usage and equipment performance, coordinating stock requirements and assisting customers with technical and operational support.
The role combines field service, customer support, equipment maintenance and process monitoring, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a practical and varied working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular inspections of chemical storage tanks and treatment systems
- Checking pumps and dosing equipment are operating correctly
- Cleaning, maintaining and refurbishing onsite equipment
- Monitoring and recording chemical dosing rates
- Conducting visual checks of product and treatment performance
- Monitoring onsite stock levels and coordinating requirements with internal logistics and production teams
- Organising chemical deliveries when required
- Delivering non-bulk chemical products to customer sites




- Assisting with onsite projects and product trials
- Supporting research and development and new product initiatives
- Troubleshooting site issues and assisting customers with technical enquiries
- Preparing weekly and monthly service reports
- Maintaining a high level of customer service and responding quickly to site requirements

About You
We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and comfortable working in a customer-facing technical environment.
You may have:

- A Diploma or qualification in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology or a related discipline
- A background as a graduate chemist
- Experience within water treatment, chemicals, pumps, mechanical equipment or industrial services
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and manage regular site visits
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
- A willingness to learn and develop your technical knowledge

Previous experience within water treatment or chemical services would be advantageous, however training will be provided for the right person.
