Cafe Barista/All Rounder

We are a modern shipping container cafe serving a busy clientele of construction workers. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Barista with strong specialty coffee skills to join our rapid-paced team in Tullamarine.

What you'll be doing:

- Preparing high-quality specialty coffee, including dialling in and adjusting the grinder throughout the day

- Producing consistent coffee quickly during busy periods

- Preparing and serving breakfast and lunch items

- Providing friendly, fast and efficient customer service

- Maintaining a clean and organised coffee and cafe area

- Stock ordering and general cafe duties

- Assisting with other areas of the cafe when required — we're a small team, so everyone needs to be willing to pitch in and help

What we're looking for:

- Minimum 1–2 years' barista experience, with specialty coffee experience essential

- Strong barista skills and knowledge of coffee

- Experience working in a busy, fast-paced cafe





- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Reliable, energetic and positive attitude

- Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a small team

- A genuine all-rounder who is happy to assist with food preparation, cleaning, serving and other cafe duties

- Must be able to start at 5:00am and have your own reliable transport

- Australian working rights required

What we offer:

- Competitive hourly rates

- Permanent casual hours, Monday–Friday approximately 5.00am–1.30pm

- Saturday approximately 5am–12:30pm

- Closed on Construction RDOs and shutdown weekends
