Job Description
About the role
We have an exciting prospect to join RWWA's growing AML team as a Financial Crime Analyst on a permanent full-time basis.
Working 38 hours per week, this role requires flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including some afternoons and weekends, to support wagering operations and investigations
In this role, you'll monitor and investigate AML/CTF matters, identify and assess potential risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
You'll conduct investigations into wagering account misuse, prepare detailed reports and recommendations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support regulatory and business requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for a compliance professional who enjoys analytical work, investigations and making a tangible impact in a highly regulated environment.
Qualifications
About you
- A relevant degree/diploma from an accredited institution;
- An industry certification such as ACAMS (or similar) is not required but is preferable;
- A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience within the AML, CTF and/or CPF-related fields;
- Previous experience in financial crime investigations, compliance, or related fields within the financial services industry;
- The ability to conduct investigations relating to AML/CTF suspicious matters and misuse of accounts and report on and provide recommendations;
- Strong capability to assess suspicious activity to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting obligations and the ability to report on those obligations;
- Reviewing and identifying new data requirements and processes to satisfy AML/CTF monitoring and reporting requirements;
- The ability to conduct Politically Exposed Person and Enhanced Customer Due-Diligence reviews;
- Coordinating and executing transaction monitoring to identify unlawful, suspicious or account misuse to minimise risk;
