Connectiv is looking for an experienced Finance Team Leader to join our team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being involved in the detail of finance while also providing day-to-day guidance to a small team. You will be part of a three-person finance team, overseeing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while completing general bookkeeping and finance activities yourself.

We're looking for someone who has solid bookkeeping experience, understands the importance of accurate financial records and is comfortable being the go-to person for the finance team.

About the role:

Your key responsibilities will include:

· Lead and coordinate the day-to-day AP and AR functions, supporting the team and managing priorities.

· Complete hands-on bookkeeping, including bank and general ledger reconciliations, journals and month-end processes.

· Review supplier payments, customer accounts and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

· Investigate discrepancies and resolve day-to-day finance issues.

· Maintain accurate financial records and prepare the books for review by the external accountant.

· Manage key finance-related systems, billing and reconciliation processes, including Xero, ClickPOS, Telstra claims and ad-hoc invoicing.

· Identify and implement practical improvements to finance processes, systems and workflows.

· Provide guidance, training and support to finance team members and act as the first point of escalation for day-to-day queries.

· Assist with general finance administration where required.

About you:





We're looking for an experienced finance professional who enjoys being hands-on and part of a small team.

You will ideally have:

· Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar hands-on finance role.

· Experience supervising, coordinating or supporting an AP and AR function.

· Strong understanding of reconciliations, general ledger and day-to-day bookkeeping.

· Experience working with accounting software, preferably Xero.

· Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

· The ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues independently.

· Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

· A practical approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

· The ability to provide guidance and support to others.
