Employment Type: Part-Time (Parental Leave cover – 8 month fixed term) Hours: 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) 9:00am – 3:00pm

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis, working closely with the HR Manager who will be on part-time parental leave for 8 months. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys operational HR, employee relations, and supporting managers in a quick-paced environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, the HR Advisor will provide end-to-end HR support across the business, ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation and company policies. You will play a key role in supporting leaders and employees while contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide practical HR advice and support to managers and employees
- Assist with employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, and investigations
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities
- Assist with employment contracts, variations, and HR documentation
- Support leave management,



including parental leave and return-to-work arrangements
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with Fair Work and relevant legislation
- Contribute to policy development and HR initiatives as required
- Work collaboratively with the HR Manager to ensure continuity of HR support
- Payroll back up support
- Administration duties as required

About You

- Proven experience in a generalist HR or HR Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Fair Work requirements
- Confident communicator with the ability to provide pragmatic, commercial HR advice
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with the HR Manager
- Experience in the HRIS and Payroll Platform Employment Hero
- Experience in transport, logistics, or a blue-collar environment (desirable)
