About the role

To perform assembly and fabrication activities in a manner that supports secure, efficient and high-quality production while meeting productivity, and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Perform assembly, fabrication, soldering, brazing, and other production-related tasks in accordance with company standards and procedures.

- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.

- Maintain product quality by following work instructions and quality standards.

- Complete tasks efficiently to help achieve production targets and deadlines.

- Safely handle materials, components, and equipment to minimise risk and prevent damage.

- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

- Conduct basic measurements and checks to ensure products meet required specifications.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support operational requirements.

- Assist with a range of physical and manual handling tasks as required.

About you

- Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or labouring environment preferred.

- Ability to perform physically demanding work and manual handling tasks safely.

- Experience using hand and power tools.

- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to follow instructions.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience using measuring tools, grinders, or pneumatic tools is advantageous.
