A different kind of painting job

Perrott Painting is looking for experienced painters to join our growing Rope Access Division servicing Perth CBD and surrounding suburbs.

We’re looking for Level 1 and Level 2 rope access technicians.

If you’re already a good painter and have never considered rope access, this could be a great opportunity to learn a current skill and take your painting career in a different direction.

You don’t necessarily need years of rope access experience. What matters to us is attitude. Your attitude determines your altitude.

What we’re looking for

* Positive attitude and the aptitude to develop new skills
* Experienced commercial or industrial painters
* IRATA Level 1 or Level 2 technicians with painting experience
* Australian, Current Zealand, SPRAT or other relevant rope access qualifications will be considered
* Good communication and a professional approach
* Someone who takes pride in their workmanship
* Reliable, motivated and willing to learn
* Physically capable of working at height

Skill and experience are important, but attitude, work ethic and aptitude matter just as much.

What we can offer

The position will initially be offered on a casual basis, with the potential for ongoing and full-time work for the right person.

Painting will be the primary scope of the role,



but rope access gives us the ability to take on a variety of different work. Depending on the projects, there will also be opportunities to get involved with:

* Anchor installation
* Rope access surveys and inspections
* Graffiti removal
* Basic handyman and maintenance work
* Other commercial rope access projects

So while painting is a big part of what we do, there’s also a good chance to put the brush down and do something different from time to time.

You’ll also have the opportunity to:

* Combine your existing painting skills with rope access
* Develop your rope access skills and experience
* Work on a variety of commercial projects around Perth
* Work alongside an experienced Level 3 rope access supervisor
* Be part of a growing rope access division
* Develop your skills and take on more responsibility as you progress

We’re not interested in hiring people just to fill a position. We want to build a quality rope access painting team made up of people who take pride in what they do and want to be part of something that is growing.
