The Opportunity
Our client is one of Perth’s largest property landlords and developers, with an exciting prospect for an experienced Workplace Office Manager to join their property investment team.
This newly created role will take ownership of workplace accommodation planning, office operations and workplace improvement initiatives across the organisation’s occupied premises. It’s an opportunity to play a key role in shaping efficient, functional and engaging workplaces that support business growth and evolving workforce needs.
Reporting to the General Manager of Property Investment, you will work closely with internal business leaders, facilities management, projects, procurement, IT and external service providers to deliver high-quality workplace solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain workplace accommodation plans, monitoring space utilisation and future workforce requirements.
- Coordinate office relocations, fit-outs, refurbishments and workplace improvement projects from planning through to completion.
- Manage day-to-day workplace services, including office amenities, furniture, meeting spaces, maintenance and general office requirements.
- Maintain accurate occupancy, headcount and floor plan data to support effective accommodation planning.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers and workplace delivery partners.
- Support workplace communications and change management associated with office moves and accommodation changes.
- Assist with budgets, procurement, purchase orders, contract administration, invoice approvals and management reporting.
- Ensure workplace environments and projects consider safety, accessibility, inclusion and compliance requirements.
About
You We are seeking a proactive and highly organised workplace professional who enjoys managing projects, coordinating stakeholders and finding practical solutions to operational challenges.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- At least five years’ experience in workplace management, facilities management, office management or workplace operations.
- Demonstrated experience in accommodation planning, space utilisation and managing workplace requirements across multiple sites.
- Strong project coordination skills, including experience with budgets, schedules, risks and contractor management.
- Experience across facilities services, procurement, contracts and general office administration.
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills, with strong Microsoft Office capability.
- A collaborative, service-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
