About the role

As an Electronics Engineer at Micro-X, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop high-quality technical solutions across a range of programs. You will be involved in design engineering activities, with a focus on sustaining Micro-X's current products and developing the manufacturing and test automation systems used in production.

Key responsibilities

- Design electronics sub-systems and PCBAs using Altium.

- Sustaining current products - investigate field failure root cause, troubleshoot production issues and maintain electrical designs.

- Manufacturing and test automation - design recent systems for production process and PCBA test automation.

- Participate in Systems Engineering activities including requirements capture, verification and validation planning and execution.

- Ensure engineering standards of quality, cost, safety, timelines, and performance are observed.

- Build relationships and manage positive customer-supplier relationships.

About you

- Minimum 3 years' technical experience in electrical system development in a commercial environment.

- Experience across the full electronics development life cycle including requirements capture, component selection, schematic design, PCB layout and verification testing.

- Experience in assembly, manufacturing,



or process control environments with experience delivering control systems used in production.

- Engineering degree in electronics discipline.
