What you'll be doing
- Greeting guests warmly and providing attentive table service throughout their visit
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Delivering meals and drinks to tables with professionalism and care
- Preparing and serving beverages behind the bar, including cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks
- Managing cash transactions and processing payments with accuracy
- Clearing and resetting tables between seatings to maintain cleanliness and presentation
- Responding promptly to guest requests and addressing any concerns or special requirements
- Working collaboratively with kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and beverage offerings to make recommendations
- Adhering to health and safety standards and responsible service of alcohol guidelines
- Supporting general venue upkeep and tidiness throughout your shift
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in hospitality, waiting or bartending roles (or equivalent customer service background)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work part time hours including evenings and weekends as required
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is highly desirable (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively
